Who has them and what are your thoughts so far.
I just got my 450's and am getting ready to get them installed and want opinions and how they are powered.
Also, how about the 350's, 250's, 150's

would suggest a big clean amp(zapco,arc, etc) running in mixed mono mode~ did really well (2 channels @ 4 ohms~zapco ref 750)

btw, you might want to check the speaker polarity (one of the drivers were wired out of phase in one of the cabinets)

I've got the 450's and run them with PPI 4125 (500/side) and love them. Very loud and clear. Everybody that has heard them is very impressed.

Have the 350's and they rock, very similar to my addictions.

What are your thoughts on a Rockford Fosgate t5002 to power these?
Also discussed sharing an amp for my tower speaks and sub, but I am thinking these definitely need their own and need a ton of power.

And 100's, 150's, 250's, 450's, and Defcon V's. I am a dealer for Skylon and NVS. I had Addicions on my SANTE last year and just put the 350s' on my 06 MB B-52 23v Team Edition. My Addicions are sitting here in my shop, for sale with a Zapco 500.1 in anyone is interested. Don't get me wrong they are amazing, just the wrong clamp diameter for the MB (2.38")

Thanks Alan, that explains things.

I have a buddy who just bought a boat from a local dealer, who is a skylon dealer. My friend wants speakers that sound like my Addictions, but I think they are only willing to throw in some Rubicon 250's, not the 350 or 450's. Do you think he will be disappointed? (relative to what he is used to with my speakers). I suspect he should ask for free gear instead.

I finally got my pair of 350's and a single 250. They will be installed buy next week will let you know how they sound. Will post pics also. I can't wait.

They sound good, but nothing close to the Addicions, 350's, etc. If he is like 90% of the people out there, he will love them, they look great and sound good, but nothing like the big hitters.

Alan, I bought the Rubi 350's instead of the Addictions on the advice of someone who listened to both. I'm just now getting them hooked up. Are you saying that they are not even close to the Addictions? What kind of power are you pushing to the 350's?

I think Alan is saying that the 250's do not compare to the big hitters like 'the Addictions, 350's, etc'

What is the height of the 350's and the 450's? Specifically, from the bottom of the tower to the bottom of the speaker housing? I want to get an idea how far they hang down.

I will try to grab a tape measure tomorrow, but if I had to guess you are not looking at anything more than a foot. On my boat anyone over 6' will probably be hitting their head on occassion....

yep, I was speaking of the 250's not the 350's. The 350's and Addictions are the closest in comparision. So close, in fact that I can not say which are better, considering I had different amps powering them.
