I love CWB platinum's. I like that companies are introducing new materials and technologies (slingshot) into the sport.

I truely believe that the new Platinum Transcend 138 is the best wakeboard ever shaped. The industry might as well stop all product development. There's nothing left to do. There.

I like how the O'Brien Natural does everything that every other board does, but better. I think we should have a Transcend v. Natural face off some day.

I love my 06 LF Fish. Nice and short and easy to spin. The extra width and beveled edge at the table make it really loose and skatey. It has really helped me loosen up my style. I'm having a blast on it!

I wouldn't mind trying out a few Ronix boards. But I can look at the bottom of the One and tell you I wouldn't enjoy it. I won't go into detail since this is the "good things" thread. I would really like to ride the popular Natural. This seems to be a well liked board by everyone that rides it. It would be nice to compare the ride to the Transcend.

I like all the brands. Lots of good shapes in each manufacturer. Bashing brands is not necessary. Look at the latest WBM. Did you see the homemade boards in that poverty stricken area. They nailed sandals to a piece of wood. And by the look on their face...THEY ARE HAVING FUN. That is what it's about FUN. I might look for a used skurfer just to humble my spoiled rotten self once in a while.

Okay... Everyone loves the Platty and I gotta say I was totally thrown off when I rode it. Granted, I was super sore from riding dirtbikes(last October)Maybe I'm missing something or way to use to what I'm on now. Buuuuuttttt it could also be that I'm not good enough to appreciate all it has to offer. Maybe the 138 is too small?? (205, 6'1") Any suggestions? I would like to get a new set up this year.

They dont make a Transcend in a 141, it must have been the 142. I ride the 07 Transcend 142 as well, its my favorite shape to date.

The new LF Trip is the smoothest board I have ever ridden. Very fast, good predictable pop

The good thing about last year models and demo boards is you can get them cheap. So when you crack it the first or second time out from hitting kickers, it's no big deal.

I really like my HL Syn/Era. It tracks well but is loose and forgiving, not too slow or fast. It pops really hard off the wake, but is smooth, consistent and lands solid.

I've been riding my Hyperlite State for 2 years, since I learned how to ride. I love it, it holds edge well, never had a problem with it. Last year I replaced the State bindings with some LF Transits and I like it even more. I still can't go wake to wake, but I know that's not the boards fault, it has to do with my balls... I wish I could replace those

I'm lovin my Byerly Legacy. The Byerly has the most pop of any board I've ridden to date and on top of that lands the softest. Everything about it just feels so smooth. A main thing to consider when buying a board is check out who shaped it and how much expierence they have with shaping boards. Alot of riders know how to ride a wakeboard but that doesn't mean at all they can shape a board right. Scott Bouchard and Byerly definately know what thier doing and do it best. I also like how flex board are starting to come into the industry. The past few years since the roam came out, I've always been telling my buddies that alot of boards are gonna be flex boards in the future and I think its just starting to turn that corner now. Me personally, I've always wanted a flex board that is solid with zero flex from binding to binding but with snappy tails like the roam w/ fins. Soon enough... Maybe Jason Callen can post up some pics if he see's this, but he has small .8 inch fins on his 144 roam and it's sick! Also you can't go wrong with closed toe bindings. Some companies just think it's a trend but that's thier own problem. I love my clown shoes!

Love my OBrien Valhalla and the crook fins. Gives me the option to ride the way I want to depending on water conditions.
