I have the O'neill and that is one of the reason I don't like it. It is two long for me. I can sell a Black 08 (as pictured above)for $85.00. Only worn 3 times. Oh and when ordering that vest it does run large.

Also have on 07 Full metal Jacket I would sell for $50.

Is there a new version of the Full Metal Jacket? Lots of good comments on here about it but when I had one a couple years ago it was heavy and stiff.

Jet Pilot OG and Hyperlite Special Agent are nice CGA vests as well.

The essential looks the thinnest to me out of all the ones recommended. But I'm not feelin the graphics this year. Are any of the above mentioned vest thin enough to wear a shirt over and not be puffy looking?

Does anyone know how thin the jet pilot core is?
Old     (jdwake1)      Join Date: Sep 2007       01-13-2009, 2:29 PM Reply
How do jet pilot life vests size run? I canceled my order because they didn't have the red revenge and I can't find one anywhere else and I'm thinking about the Murray, O.G. or stance. My chest is 39 and I can't find the sizing for the murray...
Old     (player138)      Join Date: Jun 2007       01-13-2009, 2:45 PM Reply
I wear medium shirts and the large O.G. fits me. My chest is about 42" though, so I'd say you probably want a large, but maybe a medium?
Old     (brettw)      Join Date: Jul 2007       01-13-2009, 7:49 PM Reply
I'm looking at the same thing. Anybody ever try both the Oneill Law and Revenge and have suggestion either way for USGA?

Also, for chest size 39, it's likely you'll need a Medium unless you've got a good size gut. I'm sort of in the same boat and am in between, but it's better to go slightly tighter in my opinion so the vest won't ride up on you.

Ya I just bought a medium jet pilot O.G. from the jet pilot site http://catalog.jetpilot.com/product.html?catID=28&prodID=393 in blue

Hey Jon will you keep me posted on how that vest works for you? I'd really like to know how thin the profile is on that vest as I think it is the same as the core vest.

Darren take a look at www.ridecwb.com there are a couple of different options and if you go with the faction it is the the essential but minus one strap (NON CGA)

Darren yes the JP core and JP O.G. CGA are pretty much the same vest.
We got in some new 09 JP Murray CGA vest, they are nice and thin as well for a CGA vest.
Old     (snowman89)      Join Date: Mar 2007       01-14-2009, 1:04 PM Reply
Sweet I didn't realize the faction was the essential minus one strap. I'm also curious to when 09 o'neill stuff comes out that would be cool. The murray looks thin but I'm just looking for something new. I'm debating the revenge, og/core, and the faction/essential.

I think there would be a lot of room on the market for thin cga vest but I'm sure company's wanna play it safe when it comes to that.
