Besides a syn4 and syn6 can you guys give me some options of what you are running a pair of pro 485s with?

I am considering the JL G6600, this should do the job right?

There is no configuration that would allow the JL G6600 to properly run a pair of Pro485s. If it were a pair of 60s or 80s you could bridge four into two an use the remaining two channels to run something in the boat.

But you should have 300 watts per each 485 and they can handle more.

The SYN6 doesn't fit the application either.

here's a short list:
1.) WetSounds SYN4 bridged.
2.) JL Audio HD600/4 bridged.
3.) Alpine PDX-4.150 bridged.
4.) Arc Audio KS300.4 bridged.
5.) JL Audio HD 750/1 mono/parallel.

I run my pair of 485s with on older Hifonics Xi Olympus. It's a class A/B amp and it's super clean, something like .02%. It's a 4 channel bridged at 4 ohms and delivers 2x400 watts to the 485 pair. They sound incredible. That amp draws a good amount of power however.

If I were to do it again I would go with the class H Arc Audio KS-300.4 bridged. I think you would get 350 clean watts to each 485, and the power draw would be far less sine it's a H class amp.

Is the Alpine bridged really enough at 300 per? I thought the min on the 485 was 300 RMS
