For those who educated me a few weeks ago concerning the sporatic alternator wire issue....I have replaced the battery cables, given all wires and harnesses a good once-over, and replaced the suspect terminal with some sort of I.B.E.W. terminal used in commercial construction. It looks similar to a very small battery terminal, but slips over the bolt and is held in place with a nut....just like the normal terminal. I started calling it the super-terminal because there is no way that thing will burn or break before the wire. So, after all that, I've been to the lake both weekends since and the boat has run perfectly! Thanks for all your help.....you guys rock.
