While it is a pretty clean looking boat for it's age, I think $9000 is a bit steep for a 23 year old boat. Plus it looks like it's sitting on the wrong trailer. But would probably still make a fun project.
It's not really steep on the price for a 1991 V-Drive. Some boats such as the Sunsports and Sunsetters of that age as Direct Drives pull the same price or even a little higher. If that was around me and I was in the market for a boat I would jump on it. You can't typically even touch a V-Drive for under 15-20kk around here.
At leas tthat's how the market looks around here most of the time. Nothing really in the Portland area atm, all up in Seattle. So for your same 9k, if you could get a 91 Excel V Drive or get a any of those other boats for similar money, my money would go to the V-Drive.
