Travis pastrana connected to wakeboarding?

I was just watching nitro circus on fuel tv(i should get a paycheck from those guys)Its travis' show with his buddies. In the episode where he does the double backflip in washington he has a M2R (mission 2 ride) sticker on his helmet? Is there a conection here or is it a coincidence? Steve- I know you probably have the 411 on this?

ya he wakeboards because i was watching fuel to oneday and he lives on a lake and the show was about someone makeing him a costom mastercraft or natique or something

Travis taught Jeff Weatherall how to do a backflip on a motorcycle at his place on an episode of GKA. There's a wakeboarding connection for you.

How funny that he is connected but not in any way with mission 2 ride like I had posted about. I guess the degrees of separation theory works for wakeboarding too. David - What does GKA stand for? I think I have seen that a few times on fuel.

We saw him at the wakeboard comp at X-Games when they were in Philadelphia a few years back. He walked past us and we chatted a little then he went where the riders were. The dealer in Maryland that we bought our boat from had an X-Star that they let Travis use. I think Mastercraft might had sponsored him then. This was back a few years ago.

I know years ago he ended up riding with parks and scott byerly for a bit.

Yeah electricsnow. Right when Parks signed with Hyperlite there was an article in WBM that mentioned they were out riding and Travis was there in the boat yelling at Parks as Byerly drove DUs.

I just heard last weekend from a friend that Travis has just purchased a lakehouse and nearby land for motocross tracks down here in Texas at my home lake. Friend said he has a yellow X-Star. The house is in the vicinity of Team Yamaha rider Heath Voss who always has a Mastercraft 206 I believe. I drive by Heath's practice track all the time and there was video of Heath and Travis tearin' it up on the test track last year on Heath's web site. Voss is a pretty awesome skier from what I hear. I'll give them a Wakeworld shout if I see them on the water!! Also, Kent Howerton lives up the street from me. Some of you may remember him from the 80's as one of the premier Supercross/Motocross champs of all time. He has helped with the building of some of the area tracks.
