I was driving through the course last night and hit a ball. The boat made a big, "thud." Is there potential for damage there? It ran fine afterwards.

I am gonna vote no on that one. I could see the bungee or whatever rope is holding the bouy down getting tangled in the prop shaft, or around the rudder. But either one of those would be more of an annoyance than anything. At a lake I used to ski on all the time there was a number of turtles around, and we would occasionally hit them on accident and hear a large thud too.....but it never did anything to the hull, so I think you are safe.

Check the prop. If you hit a magnet, they are hard enough to ding it up pretty hard.

If you hit a magnet it would start vibrating immediately I would think. I have seen those things peel back a ski fin really easily.

Here's a thought, Don't run over the balls! :-)

Remind me to keep my balls out of your lake.
