06 LF substance..

Since my 06 Absolute Platnium broke, I had to borrow a 138 substance from a friend, and I must say I really liked it! Granted, its not as light at my platnium and I definately felt the difference, but I had more pop and more speed than any previous board ive had (06 pure, 06 Parks and 06 'Solute Platty). I was very suprised with the speed and the kind of pop I was getting! anyone else ride this board? I have an 07 absolute platnium on its way, but now Im considering picking up the substance... too bad its so heavy!

I have a 06 substance. It is heavy but has a soft landing for a 138. Ride it a couple more times and see what you really do/don't like.

The Substance is such an awesome board though.

Dont get me wrong, I love my cwb, its really nimble, light, and great for just about any trick you want to throw at it. I was just suprised by the substance, thats all!

Have you picked up an absolute platnium? Ride that for a season then pick up a substance, and youll say the same thing.

Got one. I love it - I don't think I'd ride another board, but I'd have to disagree with it landing soft. I think it lands real hard, compared to many other boards that I've ridden.
