Does anyone know of any finance company that will offer boat loans on older boats. (for example an '82 Ski Nautique)

I did a refinance on the house. dropped 2points and 5 years off the mortgage. Payment went down by two hundred a month and got a equity line for forty K. Bought a used SSV on the equity line and the minimum payment is 65 a month. Sure I no It wont get paid off with minimum payments but if I have a bad month it's nice to be able to only pay minimum and keep the bank of my A##.OH and the intrest is tax deductable too. Anyone have a better idea!!

I'm not asking for myself, I am selling my '82 SN and I just wanted to have some ideas incase the buyer needs a loan. I would normally suggest the home equity loan first. But, not everyone has equity in their home or owns a home for that matter. Thank you for the help.

Another thought is!! How many intrest free credit cards due you get in the mail each month that have balance transfers and cash advances for six months or a year? I paid ZERO intrest on my last boat. Put 10k on credit cards for over three years with Zero intrest. ok I had to do a little paperwork once every six months or a year and swap the balance to another card. But I Financed 10k for three years At ZERO intrest. thats selling power. print this and show it to your buyers. Hope it helps
