Who's going? For those that don't know, this is our beloved Ski World USA, reinvented, with improvements!!! Same location, same great staff, same great ONSITE boat service, with a brand new pro shop.

This Friday, Sat, and Sun they are hosting a huge slider event, pro shop and boat sale.

Rusty and Andrew are riding, so bring your cameras! This is huge! You'll also have a chance to check out the 07 CIE gear .

Anyway, Billy, Evan, Allen, and I will be hanging out all weekend. Stop by and hang out.

The weekend was pretty killer, I have to give big props to Trevor Maur for stomping the rail comp on Saturday and taking the $400 home. Andrew Adkison had to settle for second. Andrew definitely one of the nicest guys in the sport but in one sport he is not there to make friends. He is a Ping Pong King, He stomped the entire CIE crew and everyone else at Evans house on Friday night. I will post some of the pics later.
Rusty Malinoski was also on hand and equally as nice and more than willing to sit down and shoot the sh!&. He pretty much dominated the rail on Sunday as he made sure he went the day without getting his shirt wet.
Scariest moment was on Saturday when Tony Caroll flew out of the end of the pool, luckily he was not injured, He was definitely killing the rail all day long to, Allen B. (have no idea how to spell your last name) was another dominate rail rider showing not only does he rip on wake but he is equally talented on the rails. With both Tony and Al on the CIE team you know you will see lots more of them killing it this year.

Great Job Nor Cal MasterCraft it was a great way to open the new location.

Awesome event. We had a great time. My dog was so worn out that he went to bed at 6PM when we got home and he is STILL there .

A highlight for me was dinner Sat night. My best friends, wife, and Andrew all at the same dinner table at my favorite restaurant! The fresh wasabi shots made all the guys tear! How many people have had dinner with the rider of their pro model board? Sweet. Of course I was swingin from his nuts, telling him how awesome the board is.

Rusty ruled the contest. Nothing else close to what he was doing, and you could tell he was just toying around. Despite the scary appearance, he a very nice, very approachable guy.

andrew was really cool... I didnt talk to him much at all... just once actually. And it was actually one of the times jarrod's dog kept bringing the frisbee to us... but it was cool cuz i was talking to him and afterwards, i realized i was just having a random conversation with one of the best wakeboarders in the world.

that was a great way for the shop to open. i was stoked to see how many people showed up for this. you could hardly find a place to park. Big thank yous go out to Nor Cal Matsercraft, CWB Board Co, CIE (cant wait for spring ride!!) and hyperlite for making this all possible.
Way to go trevor, he was trying that trick all day coming up short but threw it down in the clutch with 5min left in the best trick contest, way to represent CLOVIS man!
Andrew was a first class guy, he was hitting the rail freezing with the rest of us common folk and gave out a few hints to some of the tricks im working on which i thought was really cool.

Thanks again to everyone who made this possible,

Tony Carroll

First - Props to Nor-Cal Mastercraft for putting on a great event "at a dealer grand opening". You guy's out did yourselves. Thanks to Andrew for being such a great sport. Sorry Trever snatched the money at the end. He was actually just happy to be on the same water as you.

For any one that disses wakeboarders, you haven't taken the time to get to know them. If you were there on Saturday you may have seen my nephew in the wheelchair. He came to watch Trever ride. Rusty I'm sure you don't want me to do this but I have to. After the event Rusty Malinoski came over to my nephew and gave him an autographed poster. My nephew has CP and is confined to the chair. He is an avid sports fan. He can't talk but I can tell you Rusty, that was a tremendously kind hearted unselfish gesture and it ment a great deal to him, his mom and the rest of us. Thank you can't say enough. You made his day.

I loved the vibe of this whole event. Wakeboarders amaze me. There aren't too many cooler groups of people. I was just glad to be a part of it. Lot's of talent and energy out there sessioning that rail. I'm stoked that Trever took home the cash. He's an up and comer for sure. Charging it. After he walked away with it he told me that it was only his third time hitting rails. Nice!!!

Andrew and Rusty are class acts. Both guys are ultra cool and down to earth. I wish Rusty could have joined us for dinner, but he had other obligations. Maybe next time. We were amped to get to spend time with Andrew, shootin the $hiz and picking his brain. What a cool guy (and a master ping pong gamer).

Hopefully next time the weather will be a bit more cooperative. We were all aching to get out on the boat. I just wanted to see those guys throw down from 80' away. Oh well.

Another thanks goes out to the guys/gals at Nor-Cal Master Craft. Way to start it off right. They spent a ton of $ and time preparing for a great event. They could have easily slid in under the radar and just picked up where Ski World left off, but they did it right. They represent what I love about wakeboarding. They're doing everything they can to support the local wakeboarding scene and we definitely appreciate it.
