I have an 84 centurion that is a great boat for the age but looks it's age also. I know several people who work in or own auto body shops. I have asked everyone this question and their response is the same it should work. But no one has done it. Can I paint above the waterline or my boat with a good quality automotive paint? Will it last long? And how would you prep the hull? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've done it before with great results. Do a search on "Painting your boat" and you'll find many responses. After reading those, if you still have questions email me direct. brucehwalker@yahoo.com
