Interesting that if the Russian meteor had stayed intact a few seconds longer, it would have had the impact of 20x the Hiroshima bomb.

This is the largest impact in modern times. It was epic by any standard, but should be really worry about something that has only happened once in human history and even if it did happen the odds of it hitting Tokyo, Mexico City or New York is still extremely low. I say we save the money and just pray :-)
