Kev and Lisa's boat is about half and half on Sundays at San V, but i'm a girl and I think the sport does need more females.

Out of the dozen or so people I know that ride there are only 2 girls. My 7 y.o. daughter has just started this summer so maybe 2 1/2...

I agree. Probably mamny more guys than girls. So, my mission in life is to throw a wrench into the curve. My boat is USUALLY more girls than guys (OK, I'm kinda funny that way). I do have to say that the girls may not throw the tricks some of the guys do, but their effort and their charge is awesome. Maybe it is just my crew (who are freekin' awesone BTW), but they are some of the most enthusastic riders anywhere. A first and two seconds in their first contest recently. The dudes that ride with me are great too, not to discount that. They are throwing down the big stuff. Randy - "package check". Love it! You ought to see the package checks on my boat!! j/k

Bottom line -it's all about having fun with your crew, and see the stoke!

BTW - Jesi is my hero today! Awesome ride girl!!

I ride with one other chick and 3 dudes. Wakeboarding is mostly a "Mans sports" for this one reason... Most chicks are better at spreading gaps then clearing gaps!
