Anyone ride here before? My family and I are heading out there Friday for 4 days and I'm considering taking my wakeboard for a clinic or two on the resevoir behing the marina's Moomba XLV GG.

Also if anyone could go over the secrets of air travel with your wakeboard that would be great (Delta Airlines).

Thanks

Water temps are in the low 70's now, but air temps are still pretty cool in the morning time. Altitude at the lake is about 6200 feet, so if you're living at sealevel, you will defnitely feel it.

If you're planning on taking lessons, contact Tommy at the High Altitude Wakeboard school which operates out of the Jordanelle. He uses a 2006 Spura 21V and is a very good instructor.

Tell the airlines it's a snowboard and you won't get charged the oversize fee. Make sure you pack your board with a lot of foam or clothing around all the edges of the board otherwise you'll probably find yourself with some cracked edges when you arrive.

One more thig, it's suppose to be hot all week so plan on really rough water from all the boats that will be out. The Jordanelle is one of the most popular lakes in the area.
