hi guys, just wondering about the feature of the 2010 Slingshot Response:

Park Ready Tune - Ability to customize the board rails to desired shape

is this something like shaping the rails as in grinding the rails to your desired shape? any specifics on this? i mean, how much can we shave off the rails? how deep towards the center of the base? tips or the proper way of doing this? anything?

I bet it is much like Burton's park edge... They have more rounded edges so you don't catch on boxes. I'm assuming they will make the edges moldable with a file or sharpener.

Yeah All Slingshot Rails can Be tweaked, With a file. I sharpen mine once every couple months, Just another benefit of snowboard type construction and flex technology.

Yeah you can make them very sharp to get them faster on the wake, or round them out if you'll be sliding some stuff that has the potential to hang up

thanks for the responses. any idea on what kind/size file i should be using? or what's the best way to shape it without messing it up? i was thinking of giving it a 'chin' just like the 2010 recoils. is it possible?
