I have a buddy looking into buying a used 205 and is worried he won't be able to get it to fit in his standard 2 car garage. The trailers tongue does not break away, so he is going to have to go in at an angle. The question is, will it fit at an angle with out a detachable tongue?

Yes it will fit at an angle, if he has lots of stuff on the sides of the stalls, he might have to take the swim deck off.

i can fit my 205V into one side of the garage. The tongue does swing but that only is about 18 inches less. Platform off.

plus I have heard you can have your trailer turned into a swing tongue for a couple hundred bucks - check on tmcowners.com - I think that is where I read that

You can have you trailer converted for 200 to 250. It is well worth it.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a trailer shop that would be willing to convert to a swing away in nor-cal?

Mine fits in my 23'4" garage with a few inches to spare with the platform removed.

It was a lot easier to get it in the garage by taking the guide poles off the trailer. There is a bolt underneath, and they slide out. Other trailers I've owned had welded poles.
