I am building a amp rack on the inside wall of my boat and would like to epoxy the rack to hold it in place. When I peeled the carpet back I found that the inside part of the hull is coated with spray foam. Will epozy react with the spray foam? Should I remove the spray foam? The boards that will be epoxyed will not hold much weight. The main support was screwed into a support at the rub rail line.

Thanks in advance for any advice that you may have.

The foam is there for flotation and is weak. You need to remove it from the area you wish to epoxy.
