Yep, it's real wood. All mahogany. 540hp Indmar 6.2L supercharged, 2400lbs ballast, bow thruster....it has it all! StanCraft Custom Boats just finished. sick looking and the performance is unreal.

What a beauty!
I'd hate to take care of it. But I suppose if you can afford it, you don't have to.

Nice. You pegged that, Greg. Looks like their currently in CdA, and originally from Flathead in MT.

Hmmmm, wonder if they'll be at the wooden boat show at the resort this summer. I'm hopin to bring my wood SUP for a paddle around the marina that day.

So they took a LSV and then put wood over the fiberglass or are they built from the ground up with wood and just used the LSV mold?

Easily the sickest and most beautiful wake boat I have ever seen. That thing is pure class from bow to stern, I'm in love! Looks like they are rocking Exile/Samson on the tower.

That is so dope! I would grind that wood wheel all over the lake, and then wipe it down with pledge after.

Not sure of the cost on this one, but I know they make a classic 30' that sells in the 200K range.
Check this one out...

They are 100% wood, the only fiberglass on the boat is the bow thruster tube. Here are some shots of how this one was built. We have this particular boat sold at just under $250,000.....there is about $15,000 in stereo alone for this boat....over the top in every way....makes my daughter smile as you can see in the photo.

Stancraft makes the most amazing boats. I heard they were going to make a wakeboarding boat...and it looks 100% Stancraft. Knowing Stancraft, they didn't simulate any design.

If you have to ask "how much does it cost?" You can't afford it!

Looks like malibu to me from the side profile to the sketch 100% malibu, more power to them. Best craftsmanship I've ever seen that's for sure.

yes, it will be a MasterCraft boat built by StanCraft. Production may be as little as 5 and no more than 10. Defianately the X-series, and probably the 55. Should be very cool!

Very nice. I am definitely forwarding the pics to my wife's stepfather who in into antique wooden boats and part of a club in upstate NY. I was fortunate enough to take out an old Century and current model Hacker Craft out on Lake George, NY. Really cool experience for sure.

I wonder if it's NMMA certified. If not, I'd never buy one. You never know when a non-certified boat might sink or something.

Don't ever tell me how Nautiques are overpriced. Beautiful boat.

I dont see much teak on that boat other than the platform, but you will need some varnish in a couple years. The old wood boats arent that difficult to maintain as long as you take care of them and dont leave it out in a field to rot.

Overpriced? Compare the man hours and price of materials it took to build the Stancraft vs a Nautique and then tell me which one is overpriced.

Here are some of the boats I was able to check out up close and personal on Lake George, NY thanks to my wife's step father. We even took a couple of them out on the lake. One of the Garwoods was a 1920s and had never been off Lake George. Still had the original Scripts big block in it (2nd and 3rd pics).

Lake George truly is a great lake to board on. Too bad you don't like Lake Champlain though. I live on the NY side of Lake Champlain and ride in there daily. The water is so clean here, if only I could fix the roughness issue....
We only get glass maybe twice a week ):

And those are some amazing boats, my neighbor has an old StanCraft that he likes to flaunt off every now and then.

Mike diddo on the chop,if we waited for butter even in our bay we would go out 3 or 4 times a ayear lake is just too big and parallel to north vs south winds that funnel through the valley along adirondacks. But lake george is protected on all sides.Champlain sounds like its cleaner on your side.Boarded a few times in open lake usually 2-4 ft waves.BTW didn't mean to hijack thread into a lake thread.

My wife and I live in NC. I've been out on Lake George just twice when visiting the inlaws up in Albany. Lake George is definitely a nice lake and has beautiful views...but I wouldn't say it's a better boarding lake than what I am used to here at home with Kerr. Unless it's early or late there seems to be a ton of boat traffic (large boats too) that rough the water up pretty good. Not many coves either (again compared to where I normally ride) so any amount of wind has the lake white capping.

That said, I would have loved to ride while there last time but noway am I pulling a boat a 700 miles to do so. There was a ski/wake school beside a restaurant we ate lunch at that had an X2 and another direct drive MasterCraft. They didn't have any wake skates and the prices were a little steep so it made it easier to resist the urge to ride.
