Ty,

I went with the Pioneer TS-D170R speakers that you were looking at getting. I powered them with a Pioneer four channel 300 watt amp.

Here are some pics.

The speakers project sound real well in the mid and high range, but they are a shy on bass when your behind the boat. I'm thinking of adding two eight inch woofers on either side of the box to fill out the sound.

I also put four of them in the boat with another 300 watt amp. They sound awesome with plenty of bass.

Who took my tool box from the back of my truck????

So can you add 8’s in the same box?? I already hit my head on it once…

Cliff, Get a pic with the boat in the water… looked good on Saturday. Bling Bling.
I will hold my final verdict till I get a set in behind your boat. Let me know about adding another amp next week.

Cliff...just a recommendation....turn the box over. It would look much cleaner with the longest part up against the bottom of the tower...just a thought.

looks good!

Ral,

yes they are the ProWerks. They held up great is some pretty rough water last Saturday.

wuneywilly,

I thought about flipping the box, but there are fewer corners to hit your head on the way I installed it.
