Best Photography Magazines?

I looked at a Shutterbug magazine yesterday, and it had some interesting ideas and hints.

Which photo magazines do you like to get ideas from? Which would be the most helpful for someone just starting out?

I'm starting to shoot some wild life stuff and Outdoor Photographer has some pretty good ideas.

What are you looking for in a mag? Something with hints/tips on how to shoot better, or just something with kick ass photography?

But Joe, I don't have rangefinder camera - J/K. I found the Rangefinder site, and I'll check it out.

Randy, thanks for the tip. The site looked interesting. I'll watch it awhile to see if I want a subscription.

Scott, I'm mostly looking for tips on how to shoot better, such as composition ideas plus techniques like aperture & shutter speed used in photographs, lighting, PP, HDR, Out-of-Bounds, etc.

Outstanding photographs certainly can help through inspiration and demonstrating possibilities, but I'd also like tips.

I like the Photo Plus Canon edition. It's a UK magazine, and they gear it to the amateur photographer. The always have Photoshop tips as well as a wide range of photography tips. It is a bit pricey, but each edition comes with an instructional CD.

I can see why you like Photo Plus. It has a lot that I'm looking for. Unfortunately, a subscription to a UK mag is pretty expensive. It's hard for me to justify the cost, especially since I have Nikon gear and maybe 1/4 to 1/3 the material is useless for me.

I buy them all but I really like Outdoor Photographer the best. I usually spend more time drooling over new gear in the magazines than learning much though.
