Wanting to know what the stiffest (3DS style) bindings are for each company. I know Ronix is the Cell, but not sure about the rest of the companies.
Thanks!

CWB - AA or Marius
Hype - Marek
LF - Watson
SS - D2
O'brien - Decade

That's my guess!

watsons ltd use to have Ronix Cell I got horrible heel lift in the cell. My vote watsons. Real tall binding snug fit.

Pretty sure that heel and toe lift was corrected with the new plates. My 09 Ones were much better than my 07s.

People love their ONEs my Cells were 08 and I hated them. I demoed an IBEX with watson OT on them and just fell in love with the boot. Ended up going with the LTD. Seems that ONE and Watsons go back and forth every year as best bindings but man know people that love SS as well. My suggestion if possible demo bindings. Everyones foot is different and how the bindings fit and stretch and mold.

Ronix Cells in 07 and 08 were pretty much the same boot if I'm not mistaken. I have heard nothing but good things from the 09's.

09 Ones are the sheet. The Watson's are hard to beat, but I'm still rocking the 07 Zues.

The 2010 CWB AA's are really stiff.

I'm a big believer in stiff bindings and Watson's are not particularly stiff imo.

I bought some 09 Ltd.'s and ended up selling them after one set. They felt stiff in the shop but were not on the water.

Evan - So are the AA's or the Marius' the new zeus?

I would agree the watsons are not like a snowboard binding they do allow flex but support your ankle well so if you want absolute no movement they may not be the best.

The '09 and '10 Cell boots are NOTHING like the 07 and 08's. Definitely got the construction set up better, better fit, stiffer, ZERO heel/toe lift from my experience and SUPER SUPER light. Love 'em!

D2's with the inner ankle lock are the stiffest I have ever been in

My 09' Cells have no heal lift and are very stiff.

of all the stiff style boots i have ridden, here's my take on their actual stiffness in decreasing order:
1. 09 HL mareks - almost like a cast
2. 09 Ronix Cell
3. 10 HL marek
4. 07/08 Ronix cell
5. 09/10 Byerly Pro
6. 09 HL Murray/08 LF Watson
8. 09 LF Watson Ltd - almost like a sock (to be fair, these were a local jr mens rider's, maybe they're little more thrashed than normal)

Now i'm not trying to start a "my boots can beat up your boots" arguement here, but thats how i would rank the ones ive ridden compared to each other. its all preference.

I wanted a stiff binding, but did not want to go closed toe, so I ended up with the watsons. Im liking them, thats for sure.
