Custom Cover - Take a Look

I got tired of buying other's non-functional covers and decided to design one with the features I needed. They include:

1. Slip on bow held in place once the cover is secured at the rear.
2. Long side curtains to keep the Florida sun off the sides of the hull.
3. Tower protection from the sun. The cup at the tower tow spool provides alignment while pulling the cover over the boat.
4. The system is secured by 4 straps with quick connects at the rear platform.
5. Non-ponding ..... finally.

I can install the entire cover from inside the boat, secure it from the platform, and step from the platform to the dock.

Maybe someone would like to buy the rights and mass produce the design.

its public information since its been posted on the net. anyone can reproduce it, legally you have probably lost the rights.

The only "rights" you could get would be via a utility patent. Good luck with that...

Steal away boys. I would be happy if I could buy a cover off the shelf instead of having it custom made. At a minimum I am surprised you can't find a ski boat cover with side skirts.

Tim, looks awesome! I wouldn't mind getting one made for my 211. How do you think it will handle in 10-20 knot winds? My boat is on a lift which is outside exposed to the elements.

I had the boat on a lift 4 blocks off the Atlantic Ocean for over a year. It gets a bit breezy and the cover did just fine. Order a heavy canvas or have some strapping sewn to the larger areas if you need additional support.

I did not cover the platform so I can secure the cover while the boat is hanging on the lift. There is no strapping necessary for the front or sides to keep the cover secure, only at the back...a key feature for lift storage versus a trailer. I can step off the platform to the dock once the cover is in place.

wakebordin's got it covered for the trailer.
