I am wiring a sub amp and 2 channel amp together. One amp does not give any recommendations to power wire size (Kenwood KAC 6201) - I suppose I can use the wire size recommended for the sub amp, correct?

Also, I have a total of 3 amps -- One by itself, then the sub and tower amp together. Its okay to wire the single amp power remote to headunit, the wire the sub amp power to head unit and wire tower amp power to sub amp .... correct?

I'm confused. How are you wiring two amps together?

I just put a 200W ARC amp in, and used 8 gauge wire. I think 8 gauge works up until about 300W. After that, you need to step up to 4 gauge. (Oh, this is for power AND ground)

The speaker wire should be about 13-14 gauge. Go with 12 if you can find it.

I know this doesn't answer your questions, but I need better info first.

By together I mean: tower amp wired to distribution block with sub amp. Remote power wire from sub amp goes to power in head unit, remote power wire from tower amp goes to power on sub amp.

that should be ok. I have seen on here, that you should only run two amps off a single remote power source. there is a driver that you can use if you have three or more amps. i have three, and have not had any problems.

if you are doing it that way, I would use at least 4, if not 2 gauge from your battery to the distribution box. then 8 from their to your amps.
