I have a Straight line Bantom carbon handle that is several years old. The foam grip is completly worn off, does anyone put new grips on these?

I will, but it probably won't be pretty...

Why not replace the handle? Is the rope and handle all one piece?

The handle is seperate, it cost around $120 new. They put the grips on at the factory, hopefully someone is set up to recover them.

I am interested in this as well. I have a SL carbon handle and could use a new grip.

I know I saw some at Bridge City Water sports. So they are out there. I bought my carbon fiber handle off the bargain bin, $10 planning on getting the handle wrap. I know they make them....

one of my buddies just redid his whole handle. He used 3-4 layers of tennis grip and electric tape on the ends. He also considered putting a chamois cloth underneath the tennis grip for extra squishiness... the handles name is now 'Wilson'.

He sanded it all down and repainted it as well!

I use baseball bat tape from Big5 on mine(not a carbon though). It's a bit rough on the hands at first, but you get used to it. I actually prefer it now as the handle never, ever slips out of my hand like with some of the squishy grip handles out there.

I just got straps and I strap my hands to the handle so I never lose grip anymore

Handcuffs may work well too
