Threw a huge T/S backroll to revert off a kicker yesterday. As i landed my knee buckled and twisted and i felt a pop! after spending 5 hours in a+e was told i have probably aggrevated my medial meniscus and advised to take pain killers and rest it. Cant even walk on the damn thing. What makes it worse is trying to explain what wakeoarding is to the doctors. They ain't got a clue. When you look at you notes it says injured while WATERBOARDING!

When I tore my acl, my doctor called it WAVEBOARDING , hehe
Take it easy and let it heal.

I did almost the same last summer. They said I partially tore my meniscus. It still hurts from time to time, but i'm pretty much over it now. I think I sat out a couple of weeks and was back at it again. Good luck with it and try to stay off it for a little while if you can!

Good luck and follow up with an orthopedist. Initially I was told I tore my medial meniscus, but the MRI later showed that it actually was a tibial plateau fracture. Apparently, the two injuries present with similar symptoms.
