YO! I'm more into wakeboarding than wakeskating but sometimes i like to ride a wakeskate and just go big (not big but big for me), do some grabs and 180's into the flat. I've been riding the same old wood hyperlite board for like 6 years so it's time to change now.
I'm 185lbs and i'm looking for something not too expensive, and that would be easier on the landing than my old hyperlite...? any idea anyone???
cheers

Liquid Force Impulse- It is a great wood concave board, it comes in 3 different graphics and sizes 40", 41" and 42". The '09's are awesome but if you are looking to keep cost down you can find plenty of the 07/08's for much cheaper. Check them out!

Oak, New, LF, Hyperlite, Sattelyte, Gator... there's tons of good brands and models. You can get some pretty cheap if you look at 07/08 models. What's your budget and what have you tried before?

there arent any boards out there that i know of that make landings easier. the old Kampus Swing had a convex bottom which would act like a spine on a wakeboard, but when normal riding it would rock side to side and was awkard from what i heard.

what about that new one from cwb that is like a bi-level with foam in the middle? I think it is suposed to be easier/softer on landings due to this quality?
