Anyone know the part number for a 2000 V210 (315 Merc) Thermostat kit ? I have a Mallory kit #9-43157 and wanted to make sure it's the right one before I head up to where I keep my boat. (2 hour drive)

Thanks,
Walt

pretty sure you can dump just about any thermo in there you want(providing its a ford or chevy engine). take your old one up to the auto parts store let them know what engine you have( sounds like a 350 chevy 5.7 liter) and you can pick one up for about 8-10 bucks. i would run either a 140 or 160 degree.

just checked and im not 100 percent sure but it looks like thats a chevy 350 engine(black scorpion?) definitely dont drive 2 hours without stopping by your local autoparts store first. they should definitely have this and the gasket in stock.

Mercruiser number is a 807252Q5, which does cross over to a Mallory 43157 kit. You should be good to go.

Thank's guys ! The lake I keep my boat at is fairly remote so I wanted to double check before I went up. Hopefully it solves my problem. I know it's sticking open (drops to 130) but it also is running like crap. I think it might be telling the computer that it's cold when it's not.
