I was wondering if anybody had a recommendation of an inexpensive stabilizer that would work for a smaller HD camera (Sanyo FH1-A). I can get my boat shots decently smooth, but I wouldn't mind the added help of a stabilizer to really improve the quality of my shots. Anybody have any recommendations?

there's nothing cheaper than using both hands on the camera.
+1. I dont even know if they make stabilizers for small handhelds? my best advice is, like Joe said, two hands. But also use your arms as shock absorbers, don't rest your elbows on your knees or anything like that. Hold the camera as if it were floating in midair. have you tried just googling/ebay searching for handheld camera stabilizers? Like I said, never heard of it.
I found a few things similar to this, but I wasn't sure after looking at it, if it would really even to much to help out in a boat. I totally see the utilization for skating, or snowboarding, but for boat shooting... not so sure.
