Wakeboard Belt Buckle

i love the idea of havin it in the shape of a board and having a bottle opener would be off the hook i also like the idea of having a rider doing some kind of trick with maybe a grab or something thats just my .02 ill buy one either way just let me know

It's from the Wakestock 04 gallery - Josh Sanders Raley shot with the Canadian flag in the background. The outline looked familiar to me, then it hit me!

How far into production are you? And when should I mail a check, and for how much?

I have a huge hookup on shipping that i might be able to donate and send some prepaid packages to to support it to help keep the rider costs down.

why are you guys so worried about it being $20 or less... hell id pay up to $100 for it... it would be a one of a kind thing

why all the double up stuff? how about some thing more universal like got wake or sumthing. plus Double up might ger mad mayb but thats just me its like a bill board almost for them. mayb feel the wake or some along that?

Way to come out of nowhere there Mitch. Picked double up b/c it's a common thing in wakeboarding that most other people wouldn't know what it is. As for the company, they picked their name from the sport, so I'm gettin ghte name from the sport, rather thant he company. If they wanted to use it, then power to them, i woudln't resist...helping to progress the sport in any way i can. Waiting to hear more feedback, but i'll keep it in mind. you could always submit a design.

AND Got wake is right from wakeworld's slogan...unless they ok'd it...

i like the double up one and i think silver or chrome and gold would be sweet. i would be down for one if its under $20 and there is a board shop by me they might be in too i will talk to the owner

Horvy, that ones nice, glad you took my idea on putting double up on that graphics. Just another idea, don't know how many people would like or or how'd it look but maybe making the buckle longer and skinner to make it look even more like a wakeboard????

horvy....Looks killer we are going to have to simplify it just a little bit to do the machining but we will do that after we get a good design.
Everyone.........I will be able to run these in a few weeks after every thing calms down in my shop. Glad to see that every one is amped for these I will most likly runa few hundred of then when I run. So let any one know that wants one that once those are gone that's it.
We also need to decide when we are going to decide which of Horvy's designs we are going to use.
It will be a few weeks at least befor these are ready. Jobs that I am actually making money have to be done first. Hope that you guys understand. Just wait though these are gonna be sick.

I meant more slim and spread out, what do think the dimensions are going to be?

right now it's about 5x3. probably make it a little smaller than that, but the thinning it out was afraid it would be uncomfortable to sit in.

3.5x2.5 or 4x2.5 should be good.

I think the buckle should be huge, like in horvy's first ideas, just something that catches the eye, like DAMN, I like the last image you offered the most, horvy

I would be interested in 2 or 3 of anything horvy has designed... I like the bottle opener idea if it works, but it is tight even if it doesn't.

MAybe we can get wakeworld to do a poll to see how many people would be willing to buy one and which design that way we know how many to make so everyone can get one and which design the most people like. Also if we do the poll we need to account for how many people will buy more than one.

What design did you decide on ayhow?

It seems like the "double Up" has been the most popular so far. As Allen gets closer to being abl eto do this though, i think we'll take a final vote.

Sounds like a plan, were getting caught up so it should happen soon.

I have a couple big belt buckles that are relatively original but lately I keep seeing them around. This is definitely one I won't see unless I run into some of the kick A S S people from wakeworld! i was thinking what about one with the picture of the Raley with " Got Wake?" written on it

id draw it but im sure some of your kids (6 yrs old and younger) could do a better job than i can

No words, words. doesn't matter to me but I defintely like the graphic of the guy doing the ralley. I think it would look better if the border and any stars or whatever might be on there were silver and not gold and the guy was black...

with shiny silver, almost diamond-like border and stars...

im down for thrown down 20 on a buckle like that i ben lookin for some also and i love the first desing posted by harvy thats a bad ass design and i would feel proud to wear that ••••••••••••• i could give or take on the words the the ride above is pretty sweet but i could care less its bad ass


maybe u could try makin a desing of an off axis or indy glide or hoochie like was menchined earlyer it would be tight

Looks like the perfect spot for bottle opener would be between the legs of the rider to pop the cap off by the 3-D board.

Put it to the top! You sell 50 of them for 20 bucks and that's $1000, sure it will probably take some coin to make but you would make your fellow wake worlders very happy!
