I recently had some maintenance work done at Topside Marine (great guys btw) and in addition to the normal work I had them paint the boat registration numbers on to my boat. Three color set up...looks pretty good if you ask me.

They look good, but be careful with them. After running a promo boat that had these, and constantly docking against big bumpers, they will rub off pretty easy. Next year we will definitely just get the drip molded dome ones from ebay. BUt yah, take good care of them and they will look good!

The only thing that ever touch mine was my buffer and even that was done very gently. Buoys went on the sides when tied off. My friend has the same thing on his SANTE and they look great.

Trevor those look awesome, and the guys at Topside Marine are the best in the business.

I guess I never really said it, but having hand painted on numbers and or names, all of them become unique art forms. Pretty cool in my book...

My only concern is when you sell the boat, the next guy will hate you because they can be very hard to get off.

My last 2 boats still have the names I painted on the back...and they are names that really have no sentimental meaning to anyone but my family. I saw a boat I sold 4 years ago in the local classifieds and the guy had some stickers that were placed along side my painted numbers.

I don't think it crossed either guys' minds when buying the boat, but like I said, I think they are cursing me a little now.

Yours look very nice! Just don't tell the next guy that they may not come off without some gel coat refinishing.
