hey everybody! took my sapphire out for the first time today and decided to go finless. just wonderin how critical is it to learn without the fins?

its not critical but if you spend unough time riding finless you will learn to edge correctly rather than cheating and developing bad habbits

I'm riding an 07 natural finless should i put stickers on the bottom of the board where the holes are to loosen up the board?

yeah....finless is the way to ride for sure so keep those fins off...and that board has some bling to it...nice

and to wakesetterLSV i wouldnt worry about covering up the holes or anything i have never had a problem with that

thank ya'll for the advice, so there we have it no fins for life! what about rough waters? we saw the worlds last year here in fort worth and the chop they rode in was unbelievable. it's truly a testiment to just how amazing those riders are!

Rough waters means one of three things. 1. very hard to ride so you wont ride long. 2. bring out the tube and 3. you didnt get up early enough to get good water, sit and eat lunch and get a tan LOL
