Won't be too long before he is cruising non stop up and down the river...just turned 6. He is getting up on his own and riding small distances at a time.

I was standing on my dad's feet while he was skiing at the age of 4....

Six years old and getting up by himself - that's what they call "the good stuff" in life.

That won't take long! Did you make him a special zip tie handle for his vest too? Seriously though, good for him. He's looking good. He'll be doing the Aki double pump in no time!!

My friend's son is now 5 but rode all last summer, age 4, by himself. Getting in the boots, sliding off the platform, dealing with the rope on turn arounds and everything. He was riding so long we would have to just stop the boat and he would get in mad he had to quit. Give your son about two days of riding and he'll be out there riding a loooooonnngggggg way each time also. Pumped for you! Hoping my 2yo gets to ride with me some this summer and on his own next year. The little guys learn quick and have no fear. Don't worry if he catches a hard edge. He will bounce right back up as long as momma doesn't make a big deal out of it.
