the boat has two 13w7s,four 10w7s,two NVS Addictions,four Memphis two way 8s,eight Memphis 6s, seven Memphis amps,three video screens, game port input for video source, six batts and two 18 fared caps. The stock alt is still in the boat for now. Also has LED lights through out the boat.

wow, 4 6.5" and a set of NVS's on the tower. That must sound ridiculous.

That poor li'l Alternator. Absolutely amazing install. If only you could get the gauges and transom remote with Blue LEDs.

we are working on the gauges, hope to get then changed to match.

Looks great.

Can you even hear the 6.5s next to the NVSs? Kind of like putting a garden hose next to a fire hose isn't it?

Old     (wkerat)      Join Date: Sep 2002       08-23-2005, 3:15 PM Reply
what kind of box is that on the tower or did you make it yourself?
Old    chris_hargis            08-23-2005, 7:04 PM Reply
Ok, I have to ask.....When you mount the lights under the platform, how do you get the wires there? Do you drill a hole in the boat for them to pass through? I thought about that for a fleeting moment, then I just couldn't see drilling a hole back there for the wires and thought it would look sloppy to run them down the transom.

Just curious what all that ran ya?

Wkerat;
We custom made the box to fit the tower and hold the screen.

Chris;
Give me a call at the shop and i can help you out with the install. (209)466-8863

Daniel;

Way too much, lots of the moneys were in labor alone.

ICharles: Nice install. Im sure that things rock's
I hope you put a RCA Input and Output in that so we can link our systems,

Daniel: FYI That system costs more than some new boat's and well worth it.

Any time Grant, we will have to hook up and show every one what its all about.

By the way, how the shop going?

lol I'd laugh my ass off when the bow gets dunked and the tv shorts out. very very very pimp otherwise! plus with all those subs you prolly don't need additional ballast.

Charles; Nice install. Any chance you can share some more detail on the Memphis amps? IE what size/model is pushing which speakers?

There are two 16-MCD1500 to the 13s
one 16-MCD1000 to each pair of 10s
16-MCA3004 to the 6inch in the boat
16-MCA300 to the NVS
16-MCA300 to the four 8inch in the tower

the boat rocks, we are very happy with the sound this thing puts out. The bass and highs are balanced really well. The best part is you can hear the subs inside and out side the boat.

haha, I'd hope you can hear the subs both inside and out of the boat, that's a huge amount of slap in there!

Blair,

I am waiting for Tony to send them to me and will post them as soon as I get them.

Kevin,

This thing really pounds, we have done a lot of boats and this thing is just unreal. Some of the boats we do will just rock and have tons of bass but it just does not carry out side of the boat well. No matter where you are around this thing it sounds good.
Old     (ktmwakeboarder)      Join Date: Jun 2004       08-25-2005, 12:28 AM Reply
Believe me I wasn't doubting it for a second! I just thought it was a funny comment, but it is true about having audible bass outside the boat being difficult to achieve. Very impressive, I love it.

that is KILLER!!!!

i know what i want to do to my boat when i get one... LED's every where....

heres te stupid question of the day... how does the water affect the ones under teh platform?
Old     (chas)      Join Date: Feb 2002       08-26-2005, 4:06 PM Reply
they are water proof housing so it does not hurt them. With people in the boat they rest under water and put off a cool looking glow.

those leds would be awesome for nighttime jungle cruises!

Chas;

absolutly speachless, you have steped up the game and the lights are off the hook. Look forward to seeing some more installs and get that 210 glowing.

The 210 is getting ready to get tore into, just could not find time with the weather being so nice. I have some big plans for her, but it will take some long hours.

David
the lights are not that bad to install, just takes alot of time.

What did you do for the tower lights, I know it is plexyglass, but how many and what types of led are you using. Are they the small surface mounted or just regular round ones? How many per ring, are the ends of the rings frosted or clear??

Wonder what kind of marine life those lights under the platform would attract at night? Hmmmm. Chomp! :-)
