Los Gatos, Cali Memorial Weekend - Non-Wakeboarding Discussion

Good morning everybody!!!

My g/f and I are flying in to San Jose on Friday, May 28th and will be staying in Los Gatos for the weekend.

We have a wedding to attend on Sunday, so we are looking for some things to do Friday and Saturday. Being that it is a holiday weekend, I am assuming there will be many activities to participate in all over the San Fran, San Jose area.

We are staying at the LOS GATOS LODGE on Saturday and Sunday, but we are free for Friday night. Which means if there is something going on in San Fran on Friday, we have no problem in heading that way...

Also, hotel recommendations in the city are greatly appreciated. A place close to good dining and tasty cocktails!!!

what is the venue for the wedding? Im a chef in LG, if your looking for a great meal come by Dio Deka.

Go to Santana Row(just a few minutes from Los Gatos) in san jose Friday night for dinner & drinks. - ALL done.

Miguel is right about Santanna Row - Stay there at the Hotel Valencia. - www.hotelvalencia-santanarow.com

You will be close to some good dining, bars and not far from Los Gatos.

small world, We love that place, you guys make some killer food! Dont get to go as often though, it tends to hurt the wallet, lol.

We used to call the Los Gatos Lodge "Menopause Manor" , but that was 30 years ago in the high school days. Make sure you visit "The Black Watch". Its right on Santa Cruz Ave in downtown L.G. Killer Kamakazi's. santan Row is a must for both eating and drinking. Probably a $20 cab ride if you need one.

If you want a specific place to go to at Santana Row friday night - have dinner at Straits Cafe. That will most probably be the spot with the most actiion for dinner & dirnks. Its ALWAYS PACKED for dinner & drinks.
If after dinner you want to go somewhere else - head to the bar at the Valencia hotel - right down the street.

I am a big fan of Dio Deka - was just at Evvia for dinner on Saturday.
