I love the look of the boat. You say it is slalom fiendly but how Wake friendly is it?

Maybe the angles of the photos, but I don't see a tow point for slalom skiing.

I like it.

The Enzo's come standard with the pop up rear toe mount. It is poped down.

The Stock wakeboard wake is a bit smaller and rampier than the Deep V CEnturion hulls (Avalanche Lighning cyclone etc) but but IMHO is cleaner and MUCH easier to balance. I have a picture of the stock wake with just a couple people in the boat I will try to post later.

Damn that boat is sick. Centurions just moved up a notch on my list. Graphics look like the 07 supras and the toweris way cool too.

Yeah I love the Tribal flames Graphics that Came out last year. They really stepped up the interiors on teh Enzo's this year!

I keep seeing stuff like this & my boat will be getting replaced before the next riding season!

Kevin, that boat looks great, is it here in STL? Can you get the top deck in anything other than white yet?? That boat would look sick with a black top deck. Like the green metalflake. That bimini looks really sturdy and the tower is nice.

Does Centurion make that tower to fit any of the smaller d-drive boats??
Old     (chill720)      Join Date: Jul 2003       08-01-2006, 2:38 PM Reply
yea, that evolution tower is available on the Avalanche, thats what I have on mine.
Old     (kstateskier)      Join Date: May 2002       08-01-2006, 3:15 PM Reply
I was thinking of the smaller d-drives, like the Eclipse. My parents are looking at putting a tower on their boat and are leaning at the Titan right now.
Old     (krbaugh)      Join Date: Mar 2002       08-01-2006, 3:17 PM Reply
As far a I know it is an option to get a solid color deck. I don't think the Evolution tower is avaliable on the smaller DD boats.

How about some more pictures this is the Taho option that is available on the SV230 Enzo.
You bertter like taking care of teak!

I like the looks of the 216, but do we really need another boat with a tribal design?
Old     (krbaugh)      Join Date: Mar 2002       08-01-2006, 3:38 PM Reply
The tribal design is in the gelcoat and is an option if you don't like it save some money and don't order it

I bet my boat that the decking in the Tahoe edition is faux. Thank goodness, it will look great without maintainance. I wonder how it will feel on the feet in the heat.
Old     (hbskier)      Join Date: Dec 2005       08-01-2006, 5:28 PM Reply
By the way, I love the Tahoe ed. look. The new dash IMHO is one of the best out there. All aspects are integrated (except the ignition switch out in no-man's land). I love that the stereo control is not dangling down by your right knee. Hopefully the throttle position is improved.

I've always liked the Enzo, but it was too big for my needs and my skiing area. I'll have to take a serious look at the new model at the boat show.
Old     (krbaugh)      Join Date: Mar 2002       08-01-2006, 5:36 PM Reply
That is what I thought but it is real teak
Old     (hbskier)      Join Date: Dec 2005       08-01-2006, 5:51 PM Reply
Well nevermind about that bet then... If you are right, I'd much prefer the faux decking.

I just noticed another odity with the trim control. I'd rather have a switch on the dash or maybe on the throttle knob to avoid the loose wire. How does Supra run that line? They use the same column switch don't they?

siiick boats

if I had the money (and if it threw a little better wake) I'd probably go straight for that tahoe boat but I bet the maintenance is a bitch!

I love the flake "tribal"(I just call it flames) paint on the 216.

Any more pics or specs on the 216?? I think it just made it into the lineup of boats to demo for next season. That wake looks nice for no weight @ 23mph. Very clean, especially for a Centurion. I'd love to see it with about 2klbs.

Damn that is one sweet ride. Wake def looks different than any other Centurion out there. But i guess it solves the ol touchy weight ditribution issue due to the deep v's no curl at all on that bad boy.

The tanks under the floor like its older brother Kevin?
Old     (krbaugh)      Join Date: Mar 2002       08-02-2006, 8:03 PM Reply
The built in tanks on the 216 and 230 are on the sides under part of the side seats. The entire back storeage is free for lost more weight or junk. The new 240 can have 5 tanks 4 side tanks and 1 under the floor
Old     (gnelson)      Join Date: Jun 2003       08-02-2006, 10:49 PM Reply
Im sure I'll get my head bit off on this but to me the wake resembles the Malibu. More on the rampy side and seems to have less of a lip. Definatley different than the 05s although I havent seen the 05 Enzo wake. Looks good, would love to see it weighted.

What are the 216s retailing for?
Old     (wakeman21)      Join Date: Jul 2005       08-02-2006, 11:04 PM Reply
actually I take back my previous comment about there not being a good wake... I didn't notice it was with no ballast. I bet that thing does have pretty sick wake.

BTW what kind of stock ballast comes in 216 and 230?

You will have to ask questions here or call you dealer the boat is brand new so you won't find it on the Centurion web site.

What do you need to know?

Wow, these look great. Love the teak interior, but wouldn't want to own it.

The graphics on that Dale Jr. boat are almost identical to an MB that a guy here on WW (Jon was his user name, I think?) customized a few years ago. Looks great, but they should've gone ahead and borrowed the black rims idea for the trailer too.
Old     (krbaugh)      Join Date: Mar 2002       08-08-2006, 3:14 PM Reply
I was wondering if Jon they guy that customized his boat back in 2003 got as much BS........
he took a beating.
http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65919/79596.html

I assure you that Rick Lee the owner and person responsible for the NASCAR deal never saw Jons boat!

Of course if you are making 2 boats look like the same car they are going to look very similar.

These where proto types they are still negotiating with NASCAR and the drivers to determine what each drivers boat will look like.

The Enzo SV216, The Enzo SV240 for sure. and maybe more All the Enzo boats are loaded so they cost more than the Storm boats.
The 216 will be in the 50's

I love the playpen and the new swimdeck, but not crazy about the ridges in the seatbacks. Looks a little too retro IMO.

Wow the teak floor is way cool. But I must say the polished metal plates on the floor are a bad idea. Thoes things have to be super hot after sitting in the sun and stepping on them is gonna be a special treet.

I have a big smile on my face right now.. I had the Dale Jr. boat and I have to say that I had more fun with it than I have with any of my custom vehicles that I have owned over the years. Those that bashed were too narrow minded to the "extreme" sports hardcore tribal look to accept something different. Anybody who ever saw or rode in my boat will tell you it was pure fun. The fact that a factory boat is in the works shows how much draw there is for crossover fans. I hope that others have as much enjoyment with those boats than I did with mine.

Yikes on the ski wake. That wake plate causes way more turbulance and a taller table than I expected. Maybe it skis better than it looks. Still not bad for a v-drive. Thanks for posting the pic!

Ryan I agree the trim tab causes turbulance right behind the boat. I think Centurion could change the plate's design and shape and it would help the turbulance a bunch. The waterSki wake is WAY better than any other Centurion V drive. Plus The wakeboard wake is rampier and cleaner. IMHO
Old     (kraig)      Join Date: Dec 2002       08-09-2006, 4:39 PM Reply
The Centurions are looking nicer! I looked at them a few times, experienced a ride in one, and did not like them too much. And I'm not one to talk a boat company down, they all make a great product. Centurion is definitely increasing the look of their product.

Does anyone agree that the dash looks alot like the dash on a Malibu? One thing I don't like about the boats in the above pics is how the sun deck is forward from the transom. So that when you sit to put your board on you are either bending way over and/or you are banging the hell out of the back of the boat. Just something that never made sense to me. Tige's used to be similar and they finally figured it out and changed the design. I understand that Centurion probably did this out of the need to have a different look, but when it impacts the functionality then it's not worth it. After all, these are Wakeboard boats!

you guys sit and put your board on??? dont youre bindings have some forward lean? wouldnt this alone be kind of awkward to do. i used to do the same thing but its alot easier to stand up and put the board on by facing toward the boat so that u can put youre hand on the boat to hold yourself up. btw, centurion has come along way in just the last couple years ive worked inside these boats in the last 6 months and even just between the 05's and 06's i can notice a difference.
Old     (josnow1)      Join Date: Apr 2006       08-11-2006, 4:10 AM Reply
Big worm, I was thinking the same thing about standing facing the boat while putting on your board. ITs easier for me that way as well. I also like the direction Centurion is going. We bought an '06 Centurion and already thinking of trading in for an '07.
