What are you all using to fill these? I heard straight 50 weight gear oil. Any tips and/or suggestions as we are about to drain and refill these? TIA

If you have a grease gun (which is what you need to pump into a Bearing Buddy) then any normal tube of grease that you can get at AutoZone or other such place will suffice. You can get cheap stuff or more expensive stuff, but it's all going to work.

If you don't have a grease gun, go get one... you'll see the kind of grease tube you need to buy.

Additionally, most places carry Marine Grease in the same tubes.

When I hear bearing buddy I think of the old stand by. Try marine wheelbearing grease avail at your local dealer or walmart. Personally always had good luck with OMC/BMC brand.

If they are oil-bath hubs then you use the straight 50 wt some brands can vary.

They're definitely the oil bath type.

How do you get the oil in there? These are not the same as the grease gun type bearings.

You need to clarify...do you have Bearing Buddies or Oil Bath hubs?

Bearing buddies need a marine spec wheel bearing grease, and most oil bath hubs run straight 50 weight motor oil..not gear oil.
