Moomba XLV with a new 1100lbs front bag and 750lbs in the rear lockers. I have a trim plate as well.

I am riding a trickz board the large one and I weigh 210.

I have tried filling the front to the max and the rear (the one we ride on) full but the wake seems soft.

Is one side better than the other?

Thx

usually the port side is better because of the prop rotation. You may have too much weight in the front. Most people seem to have about 300-400 in the front. I run with a 750 in the locker and 750 on the seat and 150 in the bow. But i am going to add another 150 up front.

i have an XLV with the same ballast setup, for surfing don't fill the front bag up all the way, dont fill it much at all maybe 1/3 to 1/2 full max and fill the back all the way and maybe fill the opposite one maybe 1/8 or so just to help sink the back more, if you have a lot of people run the plate at about 1/2, if not then run the plate all the way up! i can't surf my xlv with no ballast but its not much fun :-(
