Just wondering what everyone thinks about the wake pictures from the 236? It was posted on www.planetnautique.com a couple days ago...

How does the CC compare to other big boats, like the Malibu, Supra, Etc...
Old    K.B.C.            10-19-2006, 3:03 PM Reply
4,000 #s according to the thread on PN. The wake better be good with that much weight.

I didn't see that, 4000 #'s is a lot, I didn't know you could stick that much weight in a boat...

it is a big wake but awfully curly at the top for 25mph

Isn't that curl the CC trademark? It's still got the CC kicker!

I like that tower more than the one on the Nauti posted in that other thread...

Timmy, UpNorth

If you read the top of the post, it's not the 210 and not the 210 tower. Different tower/different boat. Different wake/different boat. This boat is the 236.

You got that right jack43. Is it me or is all the CCs starting to look alike? At least you dont have to hurdle seats and or benches in the 236 its clean, unlike the 220/210 transformers.

If you were Correct Craft (MS #'s are still rock solid and the others are just climbing), you'd be swinging at the fences, aswell. Face it Red, CC's aren't selling like they used to.

i still wouldn't even consider buying that spaceship. you need 4000 lbs to get that wake and, the thing is just plain ugly.}

Ken? it is not the 210? OMG

No big deal Tim. Everyone was coming in with 236 wake comments and you posted about "every 210". Just thought you were wanderin' like Upnorth. Thought you might have gotten the boat wrong. My bad. OMG I've got a 226!

I thought this thread about the Nautique 236? How come Mad & Terra keep talking about the X-Star?
Old     (san210nut)      Join Date: Sep 2006       10-22-2006, 1:52 PM Reply
LOL, that's tradition Tackleberry...YOU HAVE TO TALK ABOUT A COMPETING BOAT!

Yeah, but the way they've been bashing the MasterCrafts just doesn't seem right. They're good boats, too...

How come Mad & Terra keep talking about the X-Star

WHOAWHOAWHOA!!!!! hey there buddy, ***RED SOVINE and TACKLEBERRY*** i despise the x-star so get your shi+ in order before you start spoutin' off. and where in the hell did you see that i am always talking about a "competeing boat"?

i have voiced my opinions MANY times regarding the new nautiques and mastercrafts so i don't feel obligated to do it again. do some research before you make heinous accusations again.

slanderous sfgjkshgfkjhnsfgnjsdfbg.

Mad,
I didn't say anything about you. It's sort of a running joke on these forums to talk about and suggest the opposite boat that the thread is actually about, get over it.
Old     (socalwakepunk)      Join Date: Dec 2002       10-23-2006, 10:13 AM Reply
Heinous accusations? I made an observation. If you don't want to be called out, don't post in public forums.
Old     (madchild1)      Join Date: Mar 2005       10-23-2006, 5:18 PM Reply
tackleberry, you are hilarious. read my post in this forum. yes, my ONE post. it says, and i quote:

"i still wouldn't even consider buying that spaceship. you need 4000 lbs to get that wake and, the thing is just plain ugly"

where in that one sentence do you see anything about defending mastercraft? or a bu, or supra, or tige or whatever for that matter? i was simply stating that 4000# is an obscene amount of weight to put in your boat. don't lump me in with the same group as that other dude.

so yes, i was called out. why? i have no idea. which is why i'm calling you out.

Dude, bashing is bashing. If you don't want to get lumped in with the bashers & haters, don't bash, otherwise...
Old     (madchild1)      Join Date: Mar 2005       10-24-2006, 2:17 PM Reply
dude, you have to agree with me, 4000# is a bit much to have to add to a boat.

sure i was hating, because of obvious reasons.

and this is coming from a guy that truly respected cc prior to the startrek conversion.

I thought 4000 #'s was a good thing, for some reason it's great in an Epic...

my beef is that it's all over the floor. after having fat sacks all over the floor my boat i never want to look at a sac again.

Tackleberry, if you don't want opinions, make your own forum. What's wrong with people's dislike of particular stylings? Or complaint about needing to add too much weight?

I've honestly yet to see someone just go gaga over the styling on the new CCs while it seems that most people are let down. I actually like some aspects of this boat and that wake looks SWEET but I agree that it shouldn't take 4,000 lbs to create that.

What I loved about CC is that they had such classic lines. Malibu and MC seem to be more going for a futuristic/modern look. I like certain aspects of the styling on those boats but have always appreciated classic lines better. People say CC can't stay in the past but look at Supra, they have maintained a classic look and yet they get better and better looking all the time. CC seems to want to go half modern/futuristic and half classic, and I think the aesthetics of their boats really suffer from this. (It honestly looks like there are two designers with totally different aesthetic tastes at CC and the boss just puts half of both ideas in the boats.) I would love to always own CCs but I will not buy a boat that is visually unappealing to me.

If this post makes me a "hater" in your book Tackleberry then I will be quite happy in the company of your other "haters."

But if you're ever in Az and want a pull behind my old 2001, just give me a holler.

Dislikes & opinions are different than hate. Your statement above certainly qualifies as opinion. When opinions include descriptions like like clusterfuct, that spaceship, etc, they pretty much jump over the hate fence. I think it's ridiculous that people are bashing a product based on pictures, without ever having any fisrthand exeperience with the actual product...

I am in AZ a bit, may be at a few of the AWA events next year. Thanks for the offer, likewise, if you find yourself in socal, offers open to ride behind my 210.
