It seems like everytime that I ride now, my binding screws are loose by the time I am done riding. So loose that I can feel the binding shake back and forth when I am in the water after I fall. I have lost a few screws as well. This scares the hell out of me. Does this happen to anyone else? Do you have a fix?

I ride a Liquid Force Substance board with Liquid Force Alpha bindings.

Do you have the FAST system?

The Alphas do not have the FAST system. Maybe to short of screws?

Try some lock-tite.

Locktite and a good quality screw driver that you can really get some leverage to worked for me.

Get rid of the phillip head screws and use either T-bolts with nylon washers or the FAST system metioned above. Go to you local board shop and ask them to set you up. They might even give you the T-bolts and washers for nada. But whatever you do, get the bindings tight or you're looking at a nasty ACL injury or worse.

GO to the hardware store and get some socket headed cap screws(allen bolts) in Stainless Steel. I had the same problem with my ultra. The flat blade screws they supply suck. I haven't had to tighen them once since I put them in last year. They work awesome.

drive the bolt through the board and put a lock nut on the back of it. j/k. LocTite should do the trick.

I've got the same problem, but very seldom are they that loose in one set, unless it's my first set after putting the bindings back on.

maybe the holes are stripped already.

Unless you change your bindings all the time use loctite. It is basically a light superglue that will keep the bolt in until you want it to come out. I lost one bolt and have used loctite ever since, never comes loose anymore.

clear fingernail polish works wonders for bolts that come loose on wakeboards or snowboards. if you use loctite, dont use the kind that makes the bolts never come undone... i believe there are 2 types of loctite.

Yup, Red and blue loctite. Use the blue as it is removable. Red will pretty much make it permanent.

yep yep. The blue loctite. But keep in mind if you ride hard you are going to have to tighten your bindings anyway. So before you get in the water give them a tighten. My bindings over the years have always loosened a little after two or three hard rides no matter what I do.

Use a drill to tighten them, I did that back in April and have yet to have a screw come loose on either my wakeboard or slalom ski (mine is notorious for having screws coming loose).

I would advise against using the drill. Very surprised you didn't yank the insert out of the board.

I second the no drill, I've stripped out snowboard inserts like that before.
