Are there boards (Hyperlite, OŽBrian, LF) that are better for cable use than others or does it only depend on preferences?

Are there any "no-nos-boards" for cable?

I would say the Hyperlite DNA-boards would be a no-no. Aside from being very expensive, I don't think they are built to take the abuse of a cable park.

I ride an '03 Hyperlite TFD 136 ... I got the board for $170 off ebay with the board being only slightly used. I think that unless you are really badass or just have lots of money to burn, you should look for some good deals on used stuff because you lose the warranty the second you hit a slider.

Just have a look in the discount and closeout sections of the online shops and local board shops. Maybe get something with molded in fins.
As just said, I wouldn't go for DNA's (and other wood cores) or honeycomb (if they still make them)
