What would be the best way to connect a new plug to my trailer. I don't want to use those crimp sleaves that go over the wire and then you use the tool to crimp them. Any ideas?

Solder and then shrink tube over it is pretty bullet-proof.

Use the butt connectors (crimp sleaves) that have the shrink tube already on them. They work great. Just make sure you give a small tug on the wire out of each end before you call it done.

Johnny, where can you find these at. I want to stop crossion I used reg old crimp clamps which lead to a bad connection. I think Sparky Jays idea is the best. I just can't solder for beans.
