1 hour of cardio 5 to 6 times a week plus lifting pretty hard 2 times a week. Also eating good. I am not really trying to stay in shape as actually get in shape. Hopefully it will open up a new world of wakeboarding for me by next summer. Doing what I have done I have lost 20-25 lbs since labor day.

lots of beer drinking to keep strong right arm, lotsa lovin to keep strong abs, lots of saving for perfect pass and gas money so can ride lots when ice gets of lake in spring. i stopped rideng end september and worked out hard for 2 months, just got back from 4 days riding orlando. the only part of my body that was not sore after was fingers and toes. i think that there is no better working out for wakeboarding then wakeboarding.

Tyler - RESPECT! Water Polo is a WORKOUT!!!! Mike Schwene played polo, still does eggbeater workouts with a 5 gallon bottle of water over his head. I played waterpolo in H.S. & Jr. National...4000 calories a day, always hungry, best shape of my life. Coach liked to give 100 fly for punishment. By the end, had a 58.82 100 fly. Punishment builds character...

Walt- sounds like a pretty good plan..mine consists of 40 oz curls though....

on a different note...i learned a big spin on a skateboard tonite....should be good for the wakeskate skills...

ya we get a 100 fly for all sorts of stuff the worst though is the eggbeater with the huge water cooler tanks, i dunno how big they are but after 3 or 4 they kill.

Still riding, so nothing changes, heres the diet. Wake up cough up a lung or two, smoke 1/2 a pack on the way to work. A pot of coffee by 10am & chase that down w/ a greasy spoon egg, bacon, cheese, sourdough breakfast sandwich, or similar breakfast burrito, w/ Tabasco. A couple of diet cokes throughout the day then its time for some more crap for lunch. After lunch the munchies return from all the KGB we smoked, so we have a Monster drink w/ a Butterfinger. Later on before driving home, we down a 6'er of Sierra Nevada. By then I'm really in the mood to unwind, so I shoot some "H".......Man, I tell ya...I love being an undercover drug nark. hahahahahahah

MOB - You have to have steps for step arobics? I thought you were supposed to step on something, like little kids or family pets or old people. I really liked kittens, they're all furry, feels good when they squish between the toes. Man, I been doin' 'em wrong all this time!!!! Dang!

My old diet used to be Red Bull & Slim Jims. Turns out you don't get so Slim...

No beer drinking, crown and sierra mist, with heavy doses of jager bombs. Oh and try to cut back on the fast food.

Just do 22 straight hours of squats every day until next season. Then you should be good

Also, do what Billy recommends.

Tackle....I was wondering why I never see kittens around your place. I prefer squishing nasty surgeons instead. The reward is so much greater!!!!

Here's a really great and informative list of what to do in the off-season

http://www.wakeboarder.com/features/getbetterthiswinter.phtml

Having just recently bought an Indo Board I highly recommend them. It keeps the smaller balance muscles in shape that always make me sore if I haven't boarded in a while. Plus it's just great for the balance help.

Josh that list is great. But how could they not have included the book on training videos? Other than that is was a great list.

if youre in High School, join the swim team. its the best workout ive ever had. we usually swim between 3000-4000yds a day. but we have a tiny team and that isnt very much.
