I have, absolute butter. It was cold water compared to any other lake. Very pretty and the water level changes only a few feet but does that every day, as it is used for power generating.

It's a P.G.&E. Lake with State and P.G.&E. campgrounds. We have friends who love it for waterskiing. I'm told there's wind in the afternoons. We've driven by it and it looks pretty enough. Very clear water but this month at the south end, there was a lot green algae that reminded me of Clear Lake. Adjacent Burney Falls are pretty. Great flyfishing at nearby Fall River. Lots of interesting things in the greater area - lava caves and tubes; Glass Mountain which is full of obsidian. Lots more Mtn lion sightings than there used to be.
