Friend is wanting to start wakeboarding, but wears a size 16.... Any bindings that go that high or close?

Seen some pretty enormous feet go into the 2009 Ronix Frank boot, you can start looking there. Don't think you'll have too much luck finding a size 16 closed toe boot. Good Luck

I figured CT is out of the question. I found a few XXL boots that are size 13-15.5, so those may work.

I wear a 17 and i have the 06 LF transit magnums... or at least that is what grizzly-sports called them back in the day.. they are tight on the sides a bit but are the largest binding i have found..

I have 15's. I have worn the HL open toe's forever. Last year rode the HL Byerly's with enough room. Also the Roniz One's and just got the Ronix Kai's.

[QUOTE=jonyb;1577221]I figured CT is out of the question.

Closed Toe isn't completely out of the question, but some modifications will need to be made.
the Slingshot 2007 boots had extra thick liners. if you hold up a 2007 liner and a 2008 or 2009 liner side by side of the same size the 2007 liner will appear 2-3 sizes bigger. you could by a size 13 2007 slingshot driver and then replace the liner with a thick neoprene booty... if you can find neo-booties in size 16.

SEE PICTURE BELLOW
the black liner is an '08 size 11 and the red one is a '07 size 10. though the black fits a larger foot it is still smaller than the red one on the outside. the foam looks to be about the same thickness at the cuff, but the black one quickly thins out bellow the cuff and the red one does not. everyone always wants things to be slimmed and made lighter, and that is probably the reason for the difference

Tell him to take up barefoot waterskiing, he was built for it.

Check boardersbestbuy.com right now. XXL Answers from 08 (88 bucks with shipping). I ride the 08 Zues and wear a 15-16 (depending on the brand). When you lock down the hinge it will push your toes into the front of the boot so I adjusted the hinge so that it essentially does nothing. Still very comfortable, very supportive. That is probably your best bet to find a high end boot that will fit his gargantuan feet

I saw those, but was unsure about the size and just wrote them off as being too small. That's a smokin deal by the way..... My last set of boots were the 08 Zeus', so I know they're good boots.
