Major Props to CWB for doing this, I think this is the coolest thing a board company has done in a long time. Being able to create your own board or just have your own graphics put on your favorite board would be the second coolest thing board companies could do. hint cough hint

I agree, very cool. I'm sure I'm just a shmoe, and I'm sure it's a 'one entry' type of thing. But I couldn't find anything saying something like, "Only 1 entry per person" or "Only 1 entry per day" or something like that. Please, make me feel like an idiot and point out that fine print.

I wonder what would happen if some unskilled new rider like myself won, wouldn't be much a promotion for them sending me out behind their boat just to fall down for the camera.... I entered anyway...

How much into "build" does the winner get into I am sure they are not free to design a whole new board since that takes a long time and is Expensive. I assume the winner can choose an existing mold and maybe push the buttons for the machines or something and choose a graphic, or even bring their own art in for a graphic????

Kelly, trust me, they are stoked to have anyone enter the contest. They'd probably rather have a beginner. Think about it, who is going to be more stoked? A beginner or a jaded old ripper? I must say this is one of the coolest contests I've seen. Jeremy, its build a board, not design one. You get to participate in the manufacturing process, which is fun in itself.

As I understand, the winner gets to design the graphic and press the board---they are going to make a limitted run, possibly in a platinum version. Great idea, lots of fun!!! Frew--if all goes well, you'll get your wish and be riding one!!!!!

Just as i suspected Big Heavy, but had to be sure being able to design a graphic would be really really awesome, but if it came down to choosing, that would be cool too, especially if they had some previous years graphics available. I am glad they will video it too. It will be great to see someones stoke and design.
