It's bandwidth most likely, not servers. And huge bandwidth cost thousands a month.

Thanks for putting the vid together Christie. That was a very fun day. It was good to have Joe back for a day and to get some good tips from Jason.

I like the way you slipped the shot of the new car in there too.

Christie you're so close! I'm sure Jason had some good pointers for you.

kyle, yes i know
jarrod, you're right

i'm working on new server hosting, but when you do things for free, its tougher to get more money for hosting.

We were actually with our friend Henry and his VLX on Don Pedro.
Yeah, Christie got a new toy. It's pretty sweet.

It was nice to see Joe again. He has been causing havoc up and down the west coast. I guess it's SoCal's turn again

Mike - you know I had to sneak a quick clip of the new ride in the video!!

Causing havoc? NorCal loves me! Seattle misses me already! That's the type of havoc you were talking about, right?

I don't know about everyone else up here, but I haven't slept since I found out.

Just Kidding, You left your self wide open for that one.

Dammit Cliff! Humor me, man!

I heard it's been sunny in Seattle since I left!

Christie, How long does it take you to put a video together ?
Old     (cfisher)      Join Date: Apr 2002       02-13-2004, 6:49 PM Reply
Walt - It takes me about an hour for every minute of final video.
Old    walt            02-13-2004, 9:05 PM Reply
Well great job as always ! I think you and christopher stack should get together and make a full length movie !

What lake was that? It is beautiful!

Christie- try landing with you weight over your toeside. Land almost as if you cutting in toeside. It helps to look towards the shore more than down where you are landing...I hope that helps..
Old     (cfisher)      Join Date: Apr 2002       02-17-2004, 7:46 PM Reply
Russ - That is Lake Don Pedro. Funny you should mention getting my weight over my toes more. I actually did it Sunday and almost rode that 180 away. However, I got too much weight on the toes and ended up with a fabulous faceplant instead

nice riding all.

Christie one other thing that I could see, and the only reason I can see this is because Squid and Paul caught me doing the same thing, so give them the credit: Just when you are leaving the wake lean a little more foward (more weight on your right foot). As squid told me, your getting this "wheelie" effect. Maybe it will leave you a little more balanced once in the air to complete the 180.
Old    jakeman            02-18-2004, 4:37 PM Reply
Christie-
keep the handle at your hip
once you are in the air
-switch hips w/ the handle-
...physics will do the rest
do-not let the handle leave you hips=it is throwing you off-balance
keep your eyes open and bend your knees for the landing

do that and I guarantee you will land} your first attempt
also don't worry bout going wake2wake=land the trick then go for distance

I better see you land a 180 in your next video

Christie, also you are forgetting to:
1) jump down,
2) turn around,
3) pick a bail of cotton

Geez, if you would just take some people's advice once in a while... Alphabetty!
Old     (cfisher)      Join Date: Apr 2002       02-18-2004, 7:45 PM Reply
Thanks for the advice everyone. One of these days, I will get it!

Jimmy - You KILL me!!! How's your back doing??
Old     (dococ)      Join Date: Mar 2002       02-18-2004, 10:10 PM Reply
Doesn't hurt anymore, but the doc says no physical abuse for another couple months. I start physical therapy in a couple weeks, so that'll be good. Meantime, I have awesome videos from Schleprockfisher and C-Stack to keep my stoke stoked.
I miss you guys! Is Greg doing speedballs yet?
Ciao

Glad to hear you are doing better. You can't abuse yourself for another couple months, but when can you come out and watch? No speedballs yet for Greg, but he did land a tantrum on Sunday! Stefani has all the footage from that trip and is working on the vid this time!
Old     (dococ)      Join Date: Mar 2002       02-19-2004, 3:51 PM Reply
Tantrum... I knew it would be the next one... I called for him last month! Incredible!
I'll come out a watch sometime soon.
Congrats, Greg!

Tammy, you better believe I will be there next month! (at least that's what I'm hoping) Hope to see you and Zach then!
