Bought a pair....seemed really shaky with boards.
First day out on the lake crossed a roller and one of the empty racks fell off the boat and into the water! Gone forever. I called fusion to complain...they said that they didn't even make an adapter yet for the illusion tower.(this was 3 years ago) Apparently they had sent me a fusion rack with a mounting adapter for a fusion speaker!! There were no instructions so I managed to get it mounted somehow and it failed of course since it wasn't designed for a rack.
They were good enough to refund my money and I went with Nice-racks instead with slingshots. Very satisfied with those. Hopefully fusion has ironed out those early wrinkles but I was not too impressed back then. Maybe someone else will have some more recent impressions.

The company has the worst dealer and customer service. The products are decent at best. There are far better companies out there right now. I beleive the company is going or is out of busines right now

I also need a new rack. Which ones are recommendable?

Fusion is out of business and whats left of them is being sold on ebay right now. There racks are chromed and cheaply done so after a year they'll start flaking. Defintly go with Nice-Racks, sure they cost more but you get what you pay for and being there full polished you won't have to worry about anything peeling. I've got 4 Nice-Racks on my boat and would never run another rack. I've tried fusion and titan and these nice-Racks are by far the best plus Horacio is a great guy to deal with down there too!

I put Nice-Racks on my evolution tower. One wakeboard rake and their new double surf rack. Very solid.

Any use the Krypt racks? I was looking at these instead since the Fusions didn't get great reviews.
