Hi i am in the process of buying a W/S 23LSV 2007 and have had a Wetsound double up package fitted as an extra to replace the original pair. I believe it has two Rockford fosgate 450-4 punch amps, 6 speaker in the boat and 1 10 or 12" sub. I was hoping to power the new Wetsound set up with what i have already? How would the original installation been wired?
If i need to get a new amp i have found two Alpine amps. One is marine grade PDX-4.100M 4x100W @4ohm rms and the other is a normal PDX-4.150 4x150w @4 ohm rms. Is it better to go for the Marine one?

James,

The one RF amp is maybe for the tower for 2 chs and 2 of the chs on the sub. with the other amp for the 6 inboats.

The 450.4 is rated at 60x4 at 4 ohms. So would be a little light to power the Double Up.

One option would be the bridge that amp into 2 chs. It will do 200x2. Use that to power the MB-8 portion of the Double Up.

Then get another amp to power the PRO 60's and the Sub. Something that is 125x4. For instance, we use our Wet Sounds SYN-4 amp that does 125x4 and in 3 ch mode 125x2 and 400x1.

So 125 to each PRO 60 and 400 to the sub. Or the alpine you mentioned that is the 4 x 150.
