Anybody ever use the Fly High Integrated Bow sack on their V210? If so how much weight are you getting in it? If not what kind of sack are you putting up front? I'm trying to figure out what options I have for under the bow seats other than lead.

IMO, lead is the only practical option under the V210 bow seats

That's what I was afraid of. The space looks way to small to get any real weight in a bow sack, especially when the sack is like $250 and might only add, what 200 lbs. Guess I'll be breaking down and putting in a little lead.

200 pounds of lead in the chain locker thingy in the front makes the boat perform so much better for cruising, skiing and wakeboarding. There is no reason not to do it IMO

Alright, thanks Ralph.

Where can you buy lead? I have been looking everywhere and cannot seem to find it.

I run 8 to 10 Pop sacks @ 40lbs each up front under the two seats. Then I run a 500 LB sack down the middle. Sometimes I'll lay another sack over the the top of the other one.

I have no idea where you can get lead. I gave up looking and went cheap and kind of ghetto. Bought 4 60lb bags of sand at home depot for 2 bucks each and poured them in trash bags underneath the bow seats. Works great actually got 240lbs under there and have room to add another bag or two easy.

Glad someone pulled this thread back up because I have another question. I just received my two 400lb sacs and put them in my engine compartments. This gives me 800lbs in back. In front I have the rear seat/center locker sac which fills to 325 pounds, a 75 pound steel plate under passenger seat, a 250 pound sac in the bow walkway leading to the bow seats, and 240 lbs of sand under the bow seats. This gives me 900 lbs in front and 800 lbs in back. I went out for the fist time last weekend and was expecting that I wouldnt have enough weight in the front. The wake was awesome especially considering it was the first time my boat was weighted however the wake was more rampy then steep. I only had 2 people in boat and was riding at 24 mph at 75 feet. I had planned on adding more weight to the front but wont that make the wake even less steep? Is it because there were only two people in the boat and it will steepen up with more people?

Yes exactly, normally I ride with a crew of 5-6. Also I ride a bit slower @ 22.7-23, as you slow down the wake jacks up a lot, especially on the V210.

I prefer a more rampy wake. We have been running the rear seat sack in the ski locker, 400 lbs of lead under the seats, the 1000lb traingle sack on top of the seats in the bow, and rear V drive sacks that fill to about 450 each. Total is right around 2800 lbs, plus 8 people, and that wake is sick!

I got the lead from a local indoor shooting range. Just go in and volunteer to clean out their traps!

Just went out and wake was awesome. Had 9 people in it so the wake was obviously MUCH steeper. It was perfect really, sooo happy with my boat. Under 15k for a wake like this? Can't believe it.

That's a crazy amount of weight Victor. I'm at 1700 lbs and my boat rides low, yours must be a handful to drive but a crazy nice wake.

It is actually not much worse than with around 1700 lbs! It could use a little more power bc it barely pulls 24 mph but other than that, it handles the weight really well!

Just got back ... have an 05 V210 Sanger. Put a 400lb sack + a 3/4 filled 700 lb sack in the rear port side locker with a 1200 lb sack in the middle for wakesurfing. Wake was pretty damn good but would like it a little further out (6' approx for the sweet spot). Pulled a wally though and by accident had turned of the autobilge. Not such a good thing. Had a bit of pumping out and dry time after that move.

The V210 is the little engine that could. Its crazy what a good boat it is, people who don't know are staggered when they come out and get beaten up by the wake.

This is how we sit loaded, bow hook just in the water, platform 1-2" under.

The boat looks so sick riding low in the water like that. Great picture.
